The Stone in Bloom Group have achieved 3 Gold Awards in 3 years.  

We took over the responsibility of entering Stone into The Heart of England in Bloom competition from The Borough Council in 2008.

The Borough through Streetscene still give our town considerable support and are responsible for the magnificent blooms you see in the town each year.

Stone field Park received a Horticultural Excellence Award in 2010 and because of the wonderful work carried out by Streetscene, Stone also won the award for the Best Large Town in 2010.  

We are now looking forward to this year’s competition and need your help!

We have just planned the Judging Route for Friday July 8th 2011.

In 2010 the judges complemented local residents for the effort put into the upkeep of their gardens and floral displays.  

As a group we will be checking the route prior to judging but ask you to check outside your home on the day for any litter.
