Stone in Bloom Schools Competition

Design and Create a Miniature Garden.

 

A prize for each school entering the Miniature Garden competition.

The individual winner in each school will be the entrant whose Miniature Garden, in the opinion of the judges, demonstrates the best use of resources such as recycled and natural materials. (YOU DO NOT HAVE TO USE THE MATERIALS PROVIDED)

There will be an overall winner of the most creative and originally designed Miniature Garden

The entries will be viewed by the judges of the Heart of England in Bloom at Stone Station during the judging of the town on Friday July 8th.

The Miniature Garden Competition is generously sponsored by Mark and Anne Trinder, Proprietors of The Londis, Walton Stores.

Mark and Anne have donated packs made up of,

  • One tray

  • Sand

  • Stones

  • Gravel

  • Plants

(Use of these materials is optional)

We will supply 5 trays per school. There is no restriction on the number of miniature gardens you enter. Please make sure they are easily transportable. Your Miniature Gardens can be made up of any materials.

It maybe, that you have a potential future Chelsea Flower Show designer in your School. We do hope so!

The gardens need to be ready for judging by Monday 4th July.
